One of SOS’ current initiatives is SOS Rescue Kitchen that was started on 17 June 2020. It has 3 locations in Bali, with the main one located in Sanur. This Rescue Kitchens operates 6 days per week and produces roughly 1,500 meals per day that are distributed to the people in most need all over Bali.

“Moved to Sanur in 1996 from Denmark, been living here since – so 25 years and still loving it. It’s been and still is a very excited journey to follow the development of Sanur. Even with the growing of businesses and visitors, it’s still my Kampung Sanur.

“I’ve been living in Sanur for almost 10 years now and in that time I’ve gotten to know it quite well. From its beautiful sunrises which I catch at least a few times a month, the lovely array of varied eateries where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal with good conversation to the quaint nightlife with live music and bustling vibes. Outside its known as Sleepy Sanur which in many ways it is but its like this in the best possible way.

This destination has values that cannot be found in other places in Bali, more and more people have become increasingly aware of this fact. Sanur now is following development trend without leaving its original character. It is a humble, warm and comfortable place to hang out for a long time.
